Oxide is a reflection on the deep-rooted connections that quietly anchor and elevate us—like the intertwined roots of a tree, unseen yet essential. This body of work honors the people who have held, supported, and inspired me throughout my life: my family, my partner, my creative sisters, and my friends. While my painting practice is often solitary, it is sustained by the presence of community beyond the studio walls. Their love and energy breathe life into my creative process. Oxide is a visual expression of that interdependence—of strength found in connection, and the quiet beauty of being held by others as we grow.
